If you are heading to Walt Disney World and wondering where you can get magic bands, there are plenty of options available to you. You can purchase a band from the parks, from Disney’s website, and even through an authorized dealer. In addition, you can also customize your band, allowing you to access your room, manage your dining plan, and link your photos to your My Disney Experience account.
Customize your band
There are a lot of ways to customize your Magic Band in Disney. You can use temporary tattoos, paint, and even nail polish. If you want to keep your band from getting dirty, you can buy a clear coat.
For those who are unfamiliar with MagicBands, they are small, plastic wristbands that link to a guest’s My Disney Experience account. They are used for entering and exiting parks, charging purchases, and storing ride photos. Those who purchase Disney vacation packages are eligible for a discount on the bands.
They are available in two basic colors, solid and customized. The Premium MagicBand comes with a special print featuring Disney princesses or characters.
Using these bands can help you get into the park faster. They can also be a room key for on-property hotel rooms.

Link your photos to your My Disney Experience account
Disney World is a great place to spend time with your family. One way to get the most out of your vacation is to link your photos to your My Disney Experience account. You can do this in many ways.
The best way to accomplish this is to purchase a Memory Maker package. This gives you access to a variety of perks, including downloads of all of the PhotoPass videos and photos taken by the parks’ photographers. It also comes with a nice bonus in the form of specialty stickers and borders.
Another way to get the same perks is to purchase a MagicBand. If you do, you can link your photos to your My Disney Experience account in a couple of easy steps.
One of the easiest ways to do this is by using the My Disney Experience mobile app. Just download the app and sign in with your username and password. From the home screen, tap on the “Photos” tab. On the bottom right of the screen is a menu with two options.
Unlock your resort room
If you are planning a Disney vacation, you may have heard about Magic Bands. These are a convenient way to check into a resort hotel, enter the parks, and charge items to your room.
You can purchase a MagicBand at select merchandise locations in the Walt Disney World Resort. They also can be purchased online. Once you have a My Disney Experience account, you can link your reservations to it. It is important to connect your reservation before leaving home.

Once you’ve ordered a MagicBand, you can link it to your My Disney Experience account. Then you can use it for dining, parks, room keys, and more. Before you leave home, you can customize your MagicBand so it matches your personal style.
When you’re at Walt Disney World, you can scan your MagicBand to enter the theme parks, make purchases, and even skip the lines for FastPass+ reservations. If you’re at a table service restaurant, your waiter will bring a scanner to your table for you to redeem your dining plan.
For the most part, this will be a hassle-free way to pay for your purchases. However, there have been reports of trouble at some touch points. In these cases, the system isn’t always able to recognize your band.
