Where to Buy a SunPass Pro

If you are from out of state and plan to drive in Florida, you should know that you can use the SunPass to pay for tolls. This can be a great way to save money when you travel. However, you need to make sure that you are buying the right card to do so.

Walmart stores in Florida

If you are looking to buy a SunPass, you may be confused by all the choices. There are hundreds of locations to choose from. Some retailers even have an online website where you can purchase a transponder.

One of the simplest and most affordable ways to get a SunPass is to purchase one from your local retailer. Most retail stores offer a promotional code that gives you a discount on a transponder. In addition to these stores, you can also purchase a SunPass at a number of walk-in centers throughout the state.

A SunPass can be used for toll payments on any Florida toll road. The device is a small sticker that is attached to your vehicle’s windshield. It reads your balance and will automatically let you through the toll booth.

SunPass stickers can also be purchased in several places, including Walgreens, Publix, and CVS. However, the SunPass Mini, which is an electronic version of the SunPass, is not widely available.

Unlike other products in the same category, a SunPass transponder does not come with a free battery. But, if you happen to have a spare battery at home, you can still use your SunPass.

Aside from Walmart, you can also buy a SunPass at various other retailers, such as Sedano’s, Amscot, and AAA.

E-ZPass is supposed to work on all Florida toll roads

The Florida Department of Transportation has made it possible for all Floridians to use E-ZPass on their toll roads. While it’s great news for drivers, there are a few snags.

First of all, E-ZPass does not work on Florida’s Florida Turnpike. Instead, it works on the Central Florida Expressway Authority’s 118-mile toll road network in Metro Orlando.

Also, E-ZPass is not compatible with SunPass. Although the two systems have similarities, they do not work together. Until now, drivers using SunPass could only pay tolls on toll roads in North Carolina.

However, Florida’s Turnpike Enterprises announced plans to accept E-ZPass in July 2020. That means that customers will soon be able to use their transponders on the state’s nearly 900 miles of toll roads.

Even with E-ZPass acceptance, drivers are still required to pay cash at toll booths. In fact, it may be more expensive to pay for the tolls with a cash rate than it is to pay for them with a transponder.

To pay for a missed toll with an E-ZPass, users can call a customer service center or pay online. For a fee, users can also mail in a payment.

If you are traveling by car, you must register your rental vehicle with an E-ZPass account. The rental company can then place a transponder in your car.

Out-of-state drivers can use SunPass

There’s a new way for out-of-state drivers to pay tolls in Florida. Instead of using cash, you can use a transponder called SunPass Pro. It will allow you to pay tolls in 15 additional states in the eastern U.S.

The new transponder is compatible with the E-ZPass tolling system, and it will enable drivers to process tolls on roads across Florida and other states. This means that you can pay for parking at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, for instance.

You will need to open a SunPass account, though. Once you have, you can use it to pay tolls on toll roads and bridges in Florida and 18 other states.

Aside from being able to pay tolls with a transponder, you can save up to 25 percent by using SunPass instead of paying with cash. You can also access toll facilities such as express lanes.

In order to set up a SunPass account, you need to log in and select the “Transponders and Vehicles” tab. From there, you can add a new vehicle to your account. If you have more than one, you can add them by clicking the “Add Another Vehicle” button.

After adding a new vehicle to your SunPass account, you should update your information. It’s also a good idea to sign up for Easy Pay Automatic Replenishment.
